Five Ohio universities announce new centers of excellence
“Committing resources and research to the development of advanced materials and sensors will allow Ohio to bring cutting-edge technologies to reality and create good jobs for Ohioans in our growing industries,” Gov. Ted Strickland said in a statement.
"Creating centers of excellence at Ohio universities has been a cornerstone of Gov. Strickland's plan to create the University System of Ohio, which linked all of Ohio's public colleges and universities and urged collaboration among them and Ohio's private universities."
