Corporate Trainer Announces Young Entrepreneurs Workshop

Mother of 5, Corporate Trainer and Business Coach, Teisha Shelby Houston does not encourage teens to get “good grades”. She doesn’t encourage teens to go to college. She does NOT encourage teens to “get a good job”.

Mrs. Houston says, “I encourage developing your strengths; celebrating your unique perception of the world; and cultivating your entrepreneur skills!” For this reason the first Young Entrepreneurs Workshop is being offered on May 8 2010 at 1:00, at the YWCA in Greenville, South Carolina. This vision planting and business planning workshop is for teens ages 14-19.

These future entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to write their future into existence as they clarify their business idea, determine what they need to do to strengthen their success as an entrepreneur and write out a simple business plan that will allow them to start a business this summer!

Teisha says, “All they need to do is register and come with a business idea! The teen years are a perfect time to play with entrepreneurship. Without the pressure of family responsibilities a teenager can learn so much about self and business that will be useful throughout his life!"

“Clearly the days of relying on a corporation to hire and retire us are over. Adults are nervous and fearful as they are jostled around in the employment game that feels akin to Musical Chairs. Yet we continue to preach “get good grades to get a good job” to our children. They are not fooled. Instead we need to prepare them for this rapidly changing job market so that they will be able to support themselves in the future.”
