Greenville Natural Health Center Offers Thermogram Exams On May 5, June 3
GREENVILLE, SC - Greenville Natural Health Center now is taking appointments for breast thermography exams - a safe, pain-free alternative for detecting breast disease. Exams will be offered on Wednesday, May 5, and on Thursday, June 3, at Greenville Natural Health Center, 1901 Laurens Road, Greenville, SC.
Breast thermography is a 15-minute, non-invasive test designed to improve detection of breast disease. There is no contact with the body, no radiation, and the procedure is painless. Thermography uses a process of infrared technology to spot abnormalities in the breasts by measuring temperature variations. A system called Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging reads functional changes in the breast at the critical point when a tumor begins to receive its own blood supply and before malignant cells have a chance to spread. The entire breast can be imaged, and changes in breast tissue that accompany the smallest of tumors can be detected.
Thermography exams are administered at Greenville Natural Health Center by Asheville Integrative Medicine. For an appointment, call Greenville Natural Health Center at 864-370-1140.
