Despite Challenging Economy, Investors Back GreenWizard and See a Bright Future for Its LEED-Focused Green-Product, Cross-Search, Compare, and Documentation Capability

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GreenWizard, Inc. – a web-based expert system that allows architects, engineers, and contractors to cross-search, compare, and document products for LEED and green commercial construction – today announced that it has closed a Series A round of private investment from a syndicate of venture capital funds and angel investors. The investment was $1.15 million.

The syndicated investment was led by Zygote Ventures, which is based in San Rafael, CA. Zygote Ventures also led an angel investment round in GreenWizard last year.

GreenWizard’s will use the funds to build out and market its interactive, searchable database system of green products for LEED and green commercial construction.
