J. David Johnson, IV, a Turner Padget shareholder, began his business transactional practice in the Columbia office on May 3, 2010. He will also continue to serve clients in Florence and the surrounding areas. David concentrates his practice in ERISA/employee benefits, business appraisals and complex tax and transactional issues for businesses and individuals, including business entity planning and organization, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and probate administration. He also has a significant tax controversy practice where he represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the South Carolina Department of Revenue.
