Columbia, SC — The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas has announced the ABC Columbia (SC) Council leadership for the current term: Mike Rohman (M.B. Kahn Construction), chairman; and Todd Weiss (CMC Rebar Carolinas), secretary. Committee chairs and other board members include: Michelle Jenkins (Verizon Wireless), membership; Don Goggans (Austin Industrial) and John Brigman (Kennan & Suggs), government affairs; Daniel Wessinger (M.B. Kahn Construction), safety; Trey Turner (Rogers Townsend & Thomas), public relations; Paul Miller (Rodgers Builders), education and training: Dennis Brunick (John J. Kirlin); Todd Soderlund (Elliott Davis LLC); Brett Wermuth (Enterprise Fleet Management); Dennis Franey (CMC Rebar Carolinas); Allen Jordan (TPM); Nick Duvall (David Allen Company); Jeff Phifer (Crawford Sprinkler Co. of SC); Bill Waters (W.B. Guimarin & Company) and Chris Kirk (Bonitz Inc.).

ABC's Columbia Council is comprised of approximately 100 local and regional member companies in Columbia and the surrounding area for which construction is their primary business or a major market of focus. More than 500 individuals from these Columbia companies participate in the organization's year-round activities, which include regularly scheduled lunch-and-learn programs, social functions, specialized education and training, and community service.
