Smith Moore Leatherwood’s Molly Huggins to Present at 2010 MAGI Conference
Raleigh, N.C. (May 19, 2010) – Molly G. Huggins, a health care law attorney for Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP, will be a featured speaker at the 2010 MAGI Clinical Research Conference. Huggins, who focuses her practice on clinical research issues will offer insight into the complex terms that often bog down clinical trial agreements.
The East Coast MAGI Conference (formerly known as Model Agreement Group Initiative) will be held in Boston, May 23 through 26. The event features nearly 500 participants and over 150 speakers on subjects ranging from clinical trial operations to regulatory, contracts and budget issues.
At MAGI, Huggins will co-host a workshop session aimed at educating companies and researchers on the terminology, including indemnification, subject injury, intellectual property and publication rights, that are essential to clinical research agreements.
At Smith Moore Leatherwood, Huggins counsels a variety of health care clients on a wide range of regulatory and operational matters. Her clients include sponsors of clinical research, academic medical centers, hospitals, physician practices and individual health care providers.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, Huggins holds a Masters in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and Georgia.
