Wood Tectonics Announces Ownership Change

Wood Tectonics is proud to announce a change in ownership. Effective January 2010, Adam Buccolo completed the purchase of the custom manufacturing company from the former owners, Skip Riddle and Alex Dobson. Buccolo will assume most of the daily responsibilities of the business; Riddle will remain for 6-12 months as an advisor.

Riddle is delighted to hand off his legacy to Buccolo, having looked extensively for just the right hands to leave it in. “I am humbled and excited to continue the legacy that Skip has developed over 30-plus years,” states Adam Buccolo. “We both understand that our focus must remain on our wonderful customers and their architectural millwork needs, both now and in the future.” Buccolo has a diverse manufacturing background that includes large-scale plastics extrusion plants, printing and converting operations, R&D and residential construction. He is excited about returning to Upstate South Carolina after 10 years in Tennessee, California and Delaware.

Established in 1985, Wood Tectonics is the leading manufacturer of custom architectural millwork in the Southeast. Its wood and cellular PVC products include molding, curved trim, custom doors and windows, columns, balustrade, and other architectural elements.
