Two New Executive Recruiters Have Joined The Kidder Group Team

Tom Buchanan, Vice President, is a seasoned sales executive who worked in the Consumer Goods Industry for 30 years. After his BA from Clemson University, he started his career with Hershey Foods as a Retail Sales Representative and moved to Lever Brothers after several years in the same capacity. He progressed to Sales Manager with Personnel and Key Account responsibilities and then took over management of the largest grocery account in the Southeast. Tom has extensive experience in Sales and Sales Management, Retail Sales, Brand Management, Personnel Management, Account Management, negotiations, customer service, Brand Marketing, logistics, Point of Sale Analysis, Training, and recruiting. Tom is very active at Buncombe St. United Methodist Church as Chairman of the Leisure Ministry, Chairman of the Parking Lot Greeters Ministry, and member of the Men’s Leadership Team. He also serves as a Mentor to Clemson Athletes through the Spiritual 2 A Day and Tigerhood programs. Tom recruits outstanding people mainly in the Sales/ Sales Management Human Resources, and Financial fields.

Chris Dickson, Vice President, has a BS and MBA from Clemson University and has attended Executive Education classes at Harvard and Wheaton. He has over 25 years of Manufacturing Operations experience, including Vice President positions at Ingersoll-Rand and Technibilt, Ltd. Chris also worked with Hubbell Power Systems (electrical distribution devices) and RBC of America (aerospace and industrial linear actuators). Chris has rich experiences in all functional areas of Operations: Engineering, Materials Management, HR, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, and Warehousing. He also has broad industry exposure (Automotive, Industrial, Primary Industries, Energy, Steel, Paper, Mining, Biotech, and Retailing solutions) in businesses ranging from several million to over a billion dollars in sales. Since he has been involved in the recruiting and selection process for most of his career, he understands the importance of hiring the “right” people and how LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM, etc are best used to drive continuous improvement.
