NETWORK CONTROLS AND ELECTRIC INSTALLS FIBER RING FOR HORSEHEAD RECYLCING IN BARNWELL, SC

(Columbia, SC), July 8, 2010 – Network Controls and Electric – a leading supplier of structured cabling, electrical and technology infrastructure -- recently installed a plant wide fiber ring at the Horsehead Recycling facility in Barnwell, SC

“The installation of this technology allows the fiber to feed multiple buildings and provide necessary redundancy for emergencies,” said Brad Cunningham, President of Network Controls and Electric.

The project, which was coordinated through Network Controls and Electric’s Columbia office, included cabling and installation of data racks to accommodate the facility’s technology.

The project was completed in collaboration with Southern Industrial Contractors.
