New Marketing Book for Small Businesses by Janet W. Christy

“In tough economic times Small Business Owners are struck by a double edged sword. They urgently need to take action on Marketing, but they do not have money to spend on it,” states Janet W. Christy, author of the newly released book 101 Winning Marketing Actions for Small Businesses. “That’s why I accelerated the completion of this book.”

Christy’s book is based on the questions, concerns and obstacles she has heard and seen during her eight years of working with Small Businesses and their would-be customers and clients. She says it is a workshop in book form that includes activities, explanations, examples, worksheets and references to help Small Businesses right now.

A few of the 101 Actions in the book are: Know and respect you competition, Guard against spending too much time on “getting ready” instead of “doing”, Plant and tend a Lead Garden, Know who your customers/clients are, and Treat marketing activities as you would treat a project for a customer/client. The book is available in both print and ebook formats.

Deb Sofield, Executive Speech & Presentation Coaching Co., says, “Janet has done the heavy lifting. The information she provides in her book makes it easier for me to chart my course for business success regardless of industry or company size.”

Christy is Owner and President of Leverage & Development, LLC based in Greer, South Carolina. She provides marketing consulting, research and training for small businesses. She is also the author of Capitalizing On Being Woman Owned.
