Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas Announces Call for Entries: 2010 Excellence in Construction Awards

Greenville, SC — The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas announces a call for entries for ABC of the Carolinas’ 2010 Excellence in Construction Awards competition. For South Carolina contracts, this awards program is one of only a few highly esteemed project recognition programs available that is specifically devoted to our area. To be eligible, projects must be completed during the 12-month period of September 1, 2009, and August 31, 2010.

“We encourage all general contractors and specialty contractors in South Carolina to enter their best project(s) and join the ranks of merit shop companies in the Carolinas recognized as ‘the best of the best’ in the two-state region,” noted Shane Bolding, 2010 Chairman for ABC’s Upstate Council and vice president of business development for Greenville-based THS Constructors. “There is so much positive exposure that comes with winning an award. It’s a great way to raise awareness and enhance the image of a construction business. Award winners are showcased in publications, websites and other media seen by clients and prospects.”

2010 award winners will be recognized at a gala presentation at the Ninth Annual ABC of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet, scheduled for November 18, 2010, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina. Entry forms must be received by September 1, 2010 with the formal submissions due at ABC of the Carolinas headquarters in Charlotte no later than October 1, 2010. Entry forms with detailed instructions and guidelines can be accessed from the home page of ABC of the Carolinas’ website at http://www.abccarolinas.org.
