Smith Moore Leatherwood Announces 13 of Firm’s Greenville Attorneys Named The Best Lawyers in America
Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP is pleased to announce that 13 attorneys in its Greenville office have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. The honored attorneys from the Greenville office span 17 distinct substantive areas in the practice areas of Corporate, Labor and Employment, Litigation, Real Estate and Industry. Firm wide, 61 Smith Moore Leatherwood attorneys were selected as Best Lawyers.
Making his debut on the Best Lawyers list in 2011 is Robert deHoll, recognized for Construction Law.
“We are thrilled that our attorneys continue to be recognized year after year as some of the best in their fields. We are also particularly proud of our growing recognition in Greenville, with Bob deHoll being honored this year,” said Rob Marcus, Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee.
First published in 1983, Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive annual peer-review survey. For the new U.S. edition, more than 50 percent of the lawyers listed in Best Lawyers cast more than 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in the same and related specialties. Because of the rigorous and transparent methodology used by the publication, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
