Central Carolina Community Foundation Awards over $109,500 in Scholarship Dollars to South Carolina Students
Central Carolina Community Foundation is pleased to award over $109,500 in the form of various scholarships to 37 of South Carolina’s best and brightest students.
“The Foundation is pleased to have the opportunity to not only serve philanthropic causes in South Carolina, but also recognize these dedicated students,” said Foundation President & CEO JoAnn Turnquist. “With double-digit tuition increases, we hope these scholarships will help lift some of the financial burden of a college education.”
The philanthropic motives of the donors behind the scholarships are as varied as the scholarship recipients themselves, but each donor has an interest in literacy and education, which are particular focus areas for Central Carolina Community Foundation.
This news comes on the heels of the announcement of their Annual Celebration scheduled for September 16. For more information on tickets for the event, please visit www.yourfoundation.org.
To arrange interviews, contact Riley Communications at 803-227-0914 or kwalker@RileyCommunications.com.
