Dillard-Jones Builders' 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home Available For Private Events

GREENVILLE, SC - Dillard-Jones Builders has announced that beginning November 8, its 2010 Southern Living® Showcase Home in Claremont will be available to companies, non-profit organizations, book clubs and other groups for private events. There is no charge for use of the house, and events will be scheduled on a first-requested basis.

The 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home will be open to the public Fridays through Sundays from November 5 until December 19. Tour hours are 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays, and 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Private events can be held at the house Mondays through Thursdays. Companies or organizations interested in reserving the 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home for a private event are asked to submit an online Event Request Form at www.dillardjones.com/2010-southern-living-showcase-home-event.php.

Catering for Showcase Home events will be handled by Greenville Chef Trish Ballentine. A native of Greenville, Ballentine began her career at The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. She served as Head Catering Chef for Carpe Diem in Charlotte, NC and as Executive Chef for Arizona Southwest Grille in Charleston, SC. Ballentine returned to Greenville as the original owner of Corporate Deli and Catering.

The 2010 Southern Living Showcase Home will be the third Showcase Home built by Dillard-Jones since being named a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program in 2006. In 2009, the Upstate homebuilder was named Southern Living’s Custom Builder of the Year for its successful presentation of the 2008 Southern Living Holiday Showcase Home in Tuscany Falls.
