Progress Lighting’s Green Brochure named “Best of the Best”
GREENVILLE, S.C., Aug. 25, 2010 – Progress Lighting has been recognized for its efforts in educating audiences on the most recent advances in lighting technology. The Electrical Distributor magazine (TED) named Progress Lighting’s “Guide to Green Lighting” as Best Literature in its 2010 “Best of the Best” marketing awards.
Designed to educate electrical distributors, agents and homebuilding professionals, this guide outlines terms that relate to lighting and sustainability practices.
Also known as the “Green Brochure,” this literature presents the variety of energy-efficient lighting alternatives Progress Lighting carries, highlights its participation in the lighting industry and the awards it has won for state-of-the-art decorative fixtures. It also contains descriptions about the ENERGY STAR and Title 24 programs, as well as basic information on how saving energy contributes to a healthier environment.
“It can be a daunting task for distributors, agents and homebuilding professionals when faced with unfamiliar terms relating to sustainable or green building design,” said Paige Malouche, director of marketing for Progress Lighting. “We introduced the Green Brochure to address these issues and are excited that TED Magazine has awarded this piece with ‘Best Literature.’”
