Babb and Brown Presents Wills and Probate Seminar

Babb & Brown, P.C., one of the leading real estate law firms in the upstate, has announced their series of seminars on Wills & Probate.

Approximately 70.2% of Americans adults overall and 74.4% of adults with children under the age of 18 do not have a Will or other estate documents*. Perhaps they do not want to think about death or feel that they cannot afford a Will. However, planning and creating a well-written Will provides clarity and certainty for loved ones during a time of sadness and confusion. Seminar attendees will discover that the cost of having a Will created pales in comparison to the costs that can be incurred without a Will.

The goal of the seminar, which covers topics such as “Do I Really Need a Will?” and “Who Can Create a Will?” is to provide people with a basic understanding of Wills & Probate. Additional topics include “Execution of a Will,” “What is Probate?” and “Living Wills & The Adult Healthcare Consent Act.”

“Some people believe only the very wealthy need a Will. Others may know that having a Will is important but do not know where to go to have one created,” stated Babb & Brown founding partner, Everette H. Babb.
