Sumter Community Foundation Announces New Members to Board of Advisors

Columbia, SC (October 4, 2010) – Sumter Community Foundation, which operates under the umbrella of Central Carolina Community Foundation, announced the new members to the organization’s Board of Advisors.

• Caron T. DuRant - Community volunteer
• Johnny B. Hilton, Ph.D. - Principal, Millwood School
• John B. Jackson, AIA - Partner, Jackson & Sims Architects
• John T. Jones Jr. - President of Jones Chevrolet-Cadillac
• Melissa H. White - SVP and Sumter Market President, NBSC

"We are thrilled to have such civic minded individuals join the Sumter Community Foundation Board of Advisors,” says Kathleen F. Creech, Board Chair. “Their dedication and commitment to Sumter will greatly impact our board and our community in a very positive way.”

Board advisors serve a three-year term and will be instrumental as Sumter Community Foundation prepares to send their annual appeal letters this month.
