First Event Leading up to Central Carolina Food and Wine Festival
Columbia, SC (October 21, 2010) – Central Carolina Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving 11 counties in the Midlands by helping charitable individuals and businesses meet the needs of our community, will host a dinner and wine tasting at The Mill Pond Steakhouse on November 15 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. This is the first event leading up to the Annual Central Carolina Food and Wine Festival, The Foundation’s signature fundraising event, scheduled for April 1, 2011.
At this dinner, Kennett Distributors will pair wines from various regions of Italy with courses prepared by Chef Jamie Hecker and his culinary team. Not only will guests enjoy the delicious food, but they also can indulge in the beautiful scenery of the area and rich history of the Mill Pond Steakhouse.
