Forest Acres is Sweet for the Holidays

Forest Acres’ signature seventh annual holiday event, Sweet Seasons, will kick off the holiday season on the rooftop of Midtown Forest Acres. Sprinkled with food, music and giveaways to celebrate the holidays and the 75th anniversary of Forest Acres, the event is free and open to the public.

WHEN: Thursday, December 2, 6 – 8 p.m., Tree lighting at 7 p.m.

WHERE: The rooftop of Richland Mall, at the corner of Beltline and Forest Drive.

MORE: Bundle up and bring the whole family for a rooftop holiday party. Enjoy holiday fare and goodies from local restaurants available for $1-$3. Other highlights:

-Mayor Frank Brunson will light the holiday tree
-Island Close By, steel pan band, will provide festive entertainment
-Kids will have free photos taken with Santa
-Desserts from Forest Acres restaurants
-The Carillion Carolers and holiday music
-Face painting, balloon artists, and local crafts

Sweet Seasons is hosted by the City of Forest Acres.
