Thumbs Up to InnoMobility, a conference proposed by Greenville businessman John Warner that he envisions focusing on "game-changing new business models in mobility wherever they are in the world," according to a report in The Greenville News. Warner, of course, is well known for developing and running the InnoVenture conference that has helped high-tech start-up businesses in South Carolina and beyond find funding, employees, and business and marketing partners. InnoMobility would build on the success of Upstate "mobility" organizations such as Michelin, BMW and Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research and help grow Greenville's reputation as a center for these industries. Michelin North America's Research Corp. is the first corporate sponsor of the planned conference. The first InnoMobility conference will be held next fall at the Carolina First Center, the newspaper reported.
