Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) along with several partners in a community task force (Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Family Partnership, Greenville Technical College and Greenville Safe Communities) is sponsoring an Upstate drug take-back event entitled Project Rx: A River Remedy.
What: Project Rx: A River Remedy is a free and safe drive-through style event to allow Greenville community members to drop off unused or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to law enforcement for proper disposal, no questions asked. The event offers a safe alternative to flushing unused pharmaceuticals down the drain to preserve the health of our local rivers and residents.
When: Saturday, November 13, 2010
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
