Progress Lighting promotes Todd Roy to Director of Builder Sales and Marketing

GREENVILLE, S.C., Nov. 24, 2010 –Todd Roy has been promoted from Builder Marketing Manager to Director of Builder Sales and Marketing for Progress Lighting. Additionally, he recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with the national lighting manufacturer.

In his position, Todd will direct Progress Lighting’s marketing and sales initiatives to the builder segments, manage the administration of all national account programs, and serve as the lead contact with all major buying groups.

“Todd’s knowledge of the homebuilding industry and commitment to increasing profitability for homebuilders across the nation has helped Progress Lighting become the leading lighting company within the homebuilding market for the past several years,” said Jim Decker, vice president of brand management for Progress Lighting. “We’re happy to celebrate both his anniversary and promotion within the company.”

As part of ongoing efforts to educate consumers about energy efficient lighting alternatives, Todd also identifies community programs in which Progress Lighting can participate, including Best Practices Research Alliance’s ZERO Energy Lab Home and K. Hovnanian Homes’ Green High Performance Home.

Todd is an active HBA member and manages Progress Lighting’s membership as a Leading Supplier of the National Council of the Housing Industry. He has served in the residential and light commercial lighting industries for nearly 20 years and is an alumnus of Florida State University.
