Shuler Appointed Chair of Employment and Labor Law Specialization Advisory Board
COLUMBIA, S.C., (January 19, 2010) — Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. is pleased to announce that Franklin G. Shuler, Jr. has been appointed the Chair of the Employment and Labor Law Specialization Advisory Board for the South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. Mr. Shuler is a shareholder in the Columbia office and concentrates his practice in employment and labor law. He has been a certified mediator in South Carolina state and federal courts since 1999. Frank has been named to the Best Lawyers in America in Employment Law since 2004, Best Lawyers in America in Alternative Dispute since 2008 and named to the South Carolina Super Lawyers in Employment Law since 2008.
The Advisory Board prescribes standards and procedures for certification, recertification, and decertification as a specialist in employment and labor law. The Board considers applications and considers examinations involved in the certification and recertification processes. This is Frank's second term as Chair having previously served in that capacity from 2000 to 2002.
