The Midlands Technical College Foundation has elected new executive officers and board members for 2011.
New executive officers are Chair: Thomas E. (Tom) Persons, Sr., SC Technology Alliance; Vice Chair: Mary H. (Mze) Wilkins, Ameris Bank; Secretary: Barbara D. Willm, Lexington Medical Center; and Treasurer: Marion A. (Lex) Knox, Jr.
New board members are Barbara W. Blau, DP Professionals; Robert D. (Bob) Drake, First Citizens-Winnsboro; Don Herriott, Innovista Partnerships; Boyd B. Jones, National Bank of South Carolina; Ted O. McGee, Jr., McGee Real Estate Company, Inc.; and James E. (Rick) Wheeler, The Loxcreen Company, Inc.
The Midlands Technical College Foundation provides the structure through which individuals, corporations and other private sector interests can demonstrate their financial support for the academic programs and economic development services offered by Midlands Technical College. www.mtcfoundation.net
