Central Carolina Community Foundation to Host Diamond Creek Wine Tasting at The Capital City Club

Columbia, S.C. (January 21, 2011) — Central Carolina Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving 11 counties in the Midlands by helping charitable individuals and businesses meet the needs of our community, will host a Diamond Creek wine tasting at The Capital City Club on Thursday, February 24, 2011. This is the fourth event of the 17th Annual Central Carolina Food and Wine Festival, leading up to the gala event, scheduled for April 1, 2011.

At this formal wine tasting, guests will experience a rare opportunity to taste five vintages of Diamond Creek (2002-2006) from the three vineyards — Volcanic Hill, Gravely Meadow and Red Rock Terrace — as well as sample delicious hors d'oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Robert McCulloch and his culinary team.

Tickets are $200 per person and can be purchased online at www.yourfoundation.org or by calling Kerrie Newell at 803.254.5601 ext. 327. Other events leading up to the Central Carolina Food and Wine Festival include dinners and wine tastings.
