Krauter to speak on Lean MRO Storerooms at PDM of MidCarolina-APICS

George Krauter, vice president of Storeroom Solutions and a recognized expert in integrated storeroom management, will serve as guest speaker during the upcoming Professional Development Meeting of the MidCarolina-APICS Chapter, Feb 8th at 6:00 p.m.
Krauter, recently named a “Provider Pro to Know in the Supply Chain Industry” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, will present on the topic “You Can’t be Lean with a Fat MRO Storeroom.”
The event is open to all members of the MidCarolina-APICS Chapter.
Krauter, originator of the concept that became known as integrated supply and co-founder of the first integrated supply company in the U.S., will talk about how a lean storeroom can contribute to an organization’s Lean manufacturing goals. He will talk about how to identify a “fat” storeroom, the impact that fat has on overall operations, and concrete steps to correct the situation.
