Three Upstate Collegiates Return To JDPR’s Executive Management Assistant Program
Greenville, S.C.- Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) selected Jenn Atkins, Charlotte Bissell and Drew Dezen to re-join the company’s Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP). A 14-week internship designed to give college students professional experience in a Public Relations firm, EMAP offers students hands-on exposure to JDPR’s techniques and approach to service clients and work with regional and national media. All three of the current interns have completed a previous EMAP session with the company and are extending their professional development with the firm.
Atkins, a senior at Clemson University, is pursuing a degree in Communications Studies with concentrations in public relations and advertising. Atkins is a returning EMAP student who also interned for the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce.
Bissell is a senior at Furman University, graduating with a degree in Communication Studies. Also a returning EMAP student, Bissell previously interned in the Public Relations Department of SPANX, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga.
Dezen is a senior studying Communications at Furman University and is also a returning EMAP student.
JDPR is currently accepting applications for the company’s Summer Executive Management Assistance Program until March 1, 2011. Interested college and university students studying Communications or English should send resumes to robinb@jdpr.com or call 864.233.3776, ext 20.
