The Aviators will be filming at GMU on Saturday, March 26th

All pilots, planes and aviation enthusiasts are invited out to the Runway Cafe on March 26th, in the early afternoon, where The Aviators will be filming.

The Aviators hit the air last fall and all of the first season shows can be viewed free on Hulu.com. The Aviators estimated per episode viewership is at least 3 million across North America. Despite the success of the show and the size of the audience, they remain an independent production and receive no funding from PBS in any way. They are solely reliant on sponsor support. Locations benefit from being showcased to a television audience of millions often help sponsor a show. D3 Technologies, an aerospace engineering service provider with a facility located in Greenville, Douglas Duncan Aviation, an aircraft maintenance facility at GMU and the Greenville Airport Commission have offered to help support the show. Any local business that cares to participate will receive a thank you credit on the show.

Businesses that are interested in sponsoring the Greenville episode can contact Lara Kaufmann at LaraLKaufmann@gmail.com or 864-634-1380.

Thank you Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville for hosting the production company, Greenville Jet Center for providing their transportation and The Greenville Convention and Visitor's Bureau for helping coordinate their stay.
