Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS Host Free Home Resource Fair

The Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® announces a Home Resource Fair on Saturday, April 2 at the Greenville County Library – Hughes Main Branch from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is free and will offer helpful information on resources available for homeowners and homebuyers. In addition, two free workshops will be held.

“Improving Your Credit” and “Home Buying” workshops will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with helpful tips from certified housing counselors Chris Payne and Greg Burgess, both with the Human Relations Commission.

The event will inform homeowners and homebuyers about the valuable resources in the Upstate that are available to help with the home-buying and home-selling process, such as strategies for finding the best home loans and rates, how good credit improves your financing and rates, how to use market data to evaluate neighborhoods and properties, the home inspection process, how to access affordable programs in the Greater Greenville area and other valuable information. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with experts from BB&T Home Mortgage, Greenville County Human Relations Commission, Greenville County Redevelopment Authority, Greenville Housing Fund, Home of Hope, Union Mortgage and many other participants.
