Family Connection Announces June Events
Columbia, S.C. (May 19, 2011) — Family Connection of South Carolina, a parent-to-parent network for families of children with special needs, hosts a number of monthly events and meetings to keep families connected and provide a fun outlet for their children. Family Connection has some exciting and fun events planned this July including:
Boy Scout Troop Meeting
Monday, June 6, 13 and 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Family Connection office (2712 Middleburg Dr. Ste 103, Columbia.) Boys and girls with special needs and their siblings and friends are welcome.
Legos and Lunch
Thursday, June 9 and 30 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Family Connection office. Bring your lunch and legos. Everyone is welcome.
Family Fun Swim Party
Saturday, June 18 from 5-7 p.m. Trenholm Park (3900 Covenant Rd.) RSVP to 803-252-0914.
Bouncerific
Tuesday, June 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Bouncerific (921 Longtown Rd.) Free bouncing for children with special needs and their siblings.
Monkey Joe’s
Wednesday, June 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Monkey Joe’s (109 Park Place Ct., Lexington.) Free to children with special needs and their siblings.
Scrapbooking
Saturday, June 25 from 1-5 p.m. at the Family Connection office. Bring your own supplies.
Mom’s Night Out Pool Party
Saturday, June 25 at 6 p.m. call Family Connection office for location. Please bring a snack to share. Drinks provided.
Sumter Connection
Monday, June 27 at 6 p.m. Pizza Lane (460 Broad St., Sumter)
SMILES Mom’s Night Out
Monday, June 27 at 7 p.m. Olive Garden (274 Harbison Blvd.)
