Fisher and Phillips' Charlotte and Columbia Attorneys Join for Successful Employment Law Event

Charlotte, NC – Dozens of Carolina employers and human resources professionals gathered to learn from the labor and employment law attorneys of Fisher & Phillips LLP (www.laborlawyers.com) at the firm's "One Day, Many Solutions" event in Charlotte. Topics of discussion included hiring and discharging employees, the electronic workplace, employee benefits, leave laws, wage and hour requirements and changes at the National Labor Relations Board affecting non-union and union employers.

"This full day seminar provided valuable information to help attendees to be better prepared for the employment law changes and challenges in the months ahead," says Hagood Tighe, a partner in the Columbia office of Fisher & Phillips.

In addition to Tighe, Mason Alexander and Kevin Dalton from the Charlotte office and George Reeves, Karen Luchka and Fred Manning from the Columbia office of Fisher & Phillips were featured presenters at the event. Attorney Bill Wright from the firm's Philadelphia office also conducted a session during the full-day seminar.
