Hill Elected Chairman of Rolling Green Village Board
David Hill recently was elected chairman of the board of trustees for Rolling Green Village. Rolling Green Village is a continuing care retirement community located in Greenville, S.C., that has provided services to seniors for the past 25 years. The community consists of independent patio homes, apartment homes, assisted living apartments, a memory care unit, and skilled nursing care.
Hill, a Greenville resident, has been a member of Rolling Green Village’s board of trustees since 2008. In his new role, he will lead the organization in continuing to provide quality housing and services to seniors during a year in which Rolling Green Village celebrates its 25th anniversary. Hill will spearhead strategic planning efforts to maintain high quality of services for current residents while assessing the needs of incoming residents. His term will last one year.
Hill began Plan Home Health Care, Inc., a home health agency that services 11 counties in South Carolina in 1991. He also started the first home infusion pharmacy in the state – Parenteral Labs & Nutrition, Inc.-- and a community pharmacy which he still owns, Memorial Pharmacy, Inc. Hill graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in Pharmacy.
“David has a great understanding of what seniors want and need through his affiliations with home health care and his pharmaceutical background,” says Eric Dudasko, executive director of Rolling Green Village. “He knows what amenities and health care services need to be provided to our residents to ensure happy, rewarding and healthy lifestyles.”
