GREENVILLE, SC -- Scott Pfeiffer, managing partner at Pfeiffer Gleaton Wyatt Hewitt, PA, has been appointed Chairman of the South Carolina Bar Professional Responsibility Committee for the 2011-2013 term.

The Professional Responsibility Committee reviews the laws and rules regulating the practice of law, studies proposals to amend the Rules of Professional Conduct and ways to facilitate compliance with the Rules and recommends changes or clarifications of those laws and the Rules to the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates for submission to the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Pfeiffer is a current member of the Professional Responsibility Committee and the South Carolina Bar Ethics Advisory Committee, the Nominating Committee of the House of Delegates, and is a Member of the House of Delegates.
