Eighty-four Lives in Five Hours: Rhythmlink Second Annual Blood Drive a Huge Success
In just five hours, Rhythmlink helped to save 84 lives. Partnering with the American Red Cross, Rhythmlink International hosted its second annual Blood Drive and received strong support from the surrounding community. The American Red Cross was able to collect 28 pints of blood in the short span of five hours. These 28 pints will be used to help save the lives of up to 84 people.
“We had a steady stream of donations throughout the entire drive. The American Red Cross staff did a wonderful job and the event went beautifully. It’s wonderful to have the support of Rhythmlink to coordinate and host events that make an impact not only on our community, but truly the lives of others,” said Amanda Rosinski, blood drive event coordinator and marketing & communications manager of Rhythmlink.
Aside from Rhythmlink participants, other donors came from Garlock Helicoflex, Pride Staff, FedEx, UPS and the University of South Carolina, as well as family and friends of Rhythmlink employees.
If you missed the opportunity to donate at this event, you can schedule an appointment with the American Red Cross by visiting their website, www.redcross.org, or calling 803.540.1241.
