O’Neal Inc. Breaks Ground On Johns Manville Ohio Project

GREENVILLE, S.C. – June 30, 2011 – O’Neal, Inc., a Greenville-based integrated design and construction firm, announced that it broke ground today on a new commercial roofing single ply membrane facility for Johns Manville Corp. in Milan, Ohio. The facility will manufacture Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing products beginning in the second quarter of 2012.

“Johns Manville is a leader in their industry,” said Jeff Hall, O’Neal’s Vice President. “The project is moving along according to plan and O’Neal is looking forward to delivering a facility that will provide a state-of-the-art product to the building industry.” O’Neal is providing Engineering-Procurement-Construction services for the project.

Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a global manufacturer and marketer of premium-quality building insulation, commercial roofing, roof insulation, and specialty products for commercial, industrial and residential applications.

The Milan site is a former rubber manufacturing facility. Approximately 100 million square feet of manufacturing capacity will be available upon completion.
