Woodlands at Furman to offer Tour of Homes
GREENVILLE, SC – The Woodlands at Furman, a senior living community located in Greenville, is opening its doors to Upstate seniors for a Tour of Homes later this month.
The Tour of Homes will allow area seniors to review Woodlands’ model units as well as the residences of about a half-dozen current residents, said Lynn Jennings, director of sales.
“This is the first time we are opening up the Woodlands like this,” Jennings said. “Our residents are serving as ambassadors to tell our story.
The Tour of Homes will occur on July 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to seniors only. Contact Angela Bagwell at 864-371-3123 by July 23 to attend. Residences will be open on all three levels of the community. Refreshments will be served.
The Woodlands at Furman is a non-profit, mission driven continuing care retirement community owned and operated by a local board of directors and managed professionally by Greystone Communities. The 22-acre campus, adjacent to Furman University, opened in March 2009 and consists of 132 apartment homes. In addition it includes 32 assisted living apartments, 16 memory support suites and 30 skilled nursing suites.
