Genesis Wins Three Awards In Elite National Printing Competition

Greenville, SC – Genesis Press, a locally owned and operated leader in commercial printing, was recently given the highest honor a commercial printer can receive, when it received a Gold award in the ultra-prestigious 2011 National Gold Ink Awards. Genesis proudly received the Gold award in the Media Kits category for its work for Spartanburg Methodist College titled, “You Are The Next 100 Years.” The effort was in partnership with creative agency Whipp.

Genesis’ winning piece will be featured in Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions magazines, as well as honored during a multimedia presentation at the Gold Ink & Hall of Fame banquet held during GRAPH EXPO in Chicago, IL, this September. In addition to its Gold award in the Media Kits category, Genesis was recognized for outstanding achievement with a Pewter Award in the Direct Mail and Business Catalogs categories for work it did for Wofford College and Greenleaf, Inc., respectively.

A competition that has been open to all creators and producers of printed materials for nearly a quarter of a century, The Gold Ink Awards, hosted by the North American Publishing Company (NAPCO), has earned the respect of the industry’s most important producers of printed work. Over a four-day period, a panel of highly regarded graphic arts professionals judged entries in nearly 50 categories.
