Keowee River announces Scarecrow Fest featuring Wild Thang Mud Run - September 29 - October 1

This year Keowee River Scarecrow Fest features Wild Thang Mud Run (a series of Adventure Races in classes from puddle jumping to a 10K challenge level), The Lighting of the Forest (an impressive light show in the great outdoors), Art Array and Harvest Tents (regional artists of the visual and culinary genres), a Sporting Clay Tournament (separate venue with an exhibition by 8 time nation champion Jon Kruger), an impressive line up of live music and family fun in a beautiful waterfront venue. Events begin Thursday, September 29, and wrap up Saturday, October 1. Silent auction and special events wholly benefit the Foothills YMCA. Details and registration at keoweeriver.com
