Nickelodeon Theatre Names New Members to Board of Directors

The Nickelodeon Theatre, South Carolina’s only non-profit art house theater and a leading voice for theater arts in the Southeast, has elected Tracy Jones, Bob Mason, Wendi Nance and Lynn Stokes-Murray to its Board of Directors. Effective October 1, 2011, these members will serve three-year terms.

• Tracy Jones -- Nickelodeon board member since 2008 and current board president. Jones has a B.A. in media arts from University of South Carolina and more than 25 years of professional marketing experience.
• Bob Mason – Senior Client Manager in Global Commercial Banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mason also serves on the board of the Association of Finance Professionals and Senior Resources/Meals on Wheels.
• Wendi Nance – Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of South Carolina. Nance has served on the Nickelodeon Theatre board for three years and is a dancer and ballet teacher.
• Lynn Stokes-Murray – Lobbyist and consultant for McNair Law Firm, P.A. Stokes-Murray serves on the Miss South Carolina Foundation Board, the Columbia College Board of Visitors and the Steering Committee for the Nickelodeon renovation project.

“These board members each have talents that will move the Nickelodeon Theatre closer and closer to our goals and our newly renovated theater on Main Street,” said Andy Smith, Executive Director of the Nickelodeon Theatre.
