Hamlin Named To Elsevier Nursing Advisory Council

Dr. Lynette Hamlin, dean of the Mary Black School of Nursing at the University of South Carolina Upstate, has been invited to serve on the Elsevier Nursing Advisory Council. She traveled to Grapevine, Texas to attend Elsevier’s first Nursing Advisory Council meeting on October 27-28. This meeting coincided with the upcoming Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Biennial Convention.

Hamline has been with USC Upstate since Fall 2010.Prior to coming to USC Upstate, she served as the chair of the Department of Nursing at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. Hamlin received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Loyola University and her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is also a certified nurse mid-wife.
