Mariner Promotes Sally Phillips to Vice President of Marketing

Continues Focus on Reaching Customers and Partners

November 2, 2011 – Charlotte, NC – Mariner, a leading business intelligence and analytics company, has promoted Sally Phillips to Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, Sally will have greater responsibility for creating, managing, coordinating and executing Mariner’s marketing strategies.

Sally has been with Mariner since October 1999. Her tenure is surpassed only by Mariner’s co-founders, Philip Morris and Joseph Guy.

Sally Phillips has 20+ years of experience in high-tech marketing, the last 12 with Mariner, an award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in business intelligence, analytics and performance management. An enthusiastic promoter, Sally’s career has included positions in high-tech, government, international and social services sectors. As Vice President of Marketing for Mariner, Sally overseas marketing, planning and communications with customers, partners, prospects, employees and friends of the firm. Earlier in her career, she established Frank Communications, a marketing communications, public relations and event management firm; served as Adjunct Professor at Strayer University, teaching marketing and advertising; and held a variety of marketing and sales positions for government contractors in the US and Europe.
