Better Business Bureau® Announces 2011 Student Of Integrity Award Winners

GREENVILLE, SC – The Better Business Bureau® Upstate has awarded six Student of Integrity Awards to rising high school seniors in the Upstate who personify high character through leadership, community service, personal integrity and academic history. Students were recognized during the Better Business Bureau Business/Student of Integrity Gala held November 3 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, and each will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend an accredited college or university.

Winners of the 2011 Student of Integrity Awards are: Samuel Louis Holleman, Seneca High School; Sheryl Preet Kaur, Landrum High School; Alexandra DuBose Mauney, Eastside High School/Fine Arts Center; Raegan Campbell McCullough, Crescent High School; Corinne Maly Taylor, Westside High School; and Samuel Carl Willis, Walhalla Senior High School. Samuel Carl Willis in also received the Ellis L. Darby Memorial Scholarship given by GBS Building Supply.

The annual BBB Student of Integrity Awards marked its fifth year with students from high schools in the 10-county Upstate area submitting applications. The awards program is presented by the Better Business Bureau, which serves the 10 counties in the Upstate region of South Carolina with a mission to promote, develop and encourage an ethical marketplace.
