Better Business Bureau® Names 2011 Business Of Integrity Award Winners
GREENVILLE, SC – The Better Business Bureau® Upstate SC has recognized seven Upstate area companies with its annual Business of Integrity Awards. The 2011 awards for Marketplace Ethics, Customer Service and Community Service were presented during the BBB’s Business/Student of Integrity Gala held November 3rd at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
Each year, the BBB honors businesses in the 10-county Upstate region for high ethical standards of behavior toward customers, suppliers and employees. Award criteria also include marketing and advertising practices, and community and industry involvement.
The 2011 BBB Business Integrity Award winners in the 1-10 Employees category are: Elite Financial Services, Inc. for Marketplace Ethics and AAA Upstate Plumbing of Greenville, LLC for Customer Service. Winners in the Small Business category are: Carolina Heating Service, Inc. for Customer Service and Immedion, LLC for Customer Service.
Winners in the Medium Business category are: Bank of Travelers Rest for Marketplace Ethics; Smith Dray Line & Storage Company, Inc. for Marketplace Ethics and Customer Service; and Consolidated Southern Industries, Inc. for Community Service.
In addition to these awards, The Arbitrator of the Year award was given to Harold Graves. The Chairman’s Awards were given to Thomas H. Coker, III, Vanessia Arnold and Kathy Vass.
