Verizon Wireless Partners With UBS Ice On Main To Bring Holiday Cheer To The HopeLine Program
Who: HopeLine® from Verizon and UBS Ice on Main, the only open-air ice skating rink of its kind in Upstate South Carolina.
What: HopeLine from Verizon puts the nation’s most reliable network to work in the community by turning no-longer used cell phones into support for domestic violence victims and survivors. Those who donate a no-longer used cell phone at UBS Ice on Main will receive $2 off their ice skating tickets.
When: Tuesday, December 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: UBS Ice on Main is located on Village Green, in front of the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Greenville, adjacent to City Hall.
Why: Nearly one in four women, one in nine men, and over 3 million children have been affected by domestic violence each year. Throughout the year, Verizon recognizes the importance of supporting domestic violence survivors and bringing attention to the issue. This holiday season, the company is encouraging the Greenville community to help with the initiative by donating their no-longer used cell phones.
