EO Charlotte Boasts Addition to its List of 40 Under 40 Alumni

John Dillard Ties Honor to Experiences in Entrepreneurs’ Organization

CHARLOTTE, NC – February 8, 2012 – EO Charlotte, a chapter of the globally recognized Entrepreneurs’ Organization, congratulates one of its members, John Dillard, on his inclusion in the Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List for 2012. John joins an impressive list of EO Charlotte peers who have been recognized by the 40 Under 40 Awards in the past few years. This year’s 19th 40 Under 40 Awards recognize 40 of the region's brightest and most talented up-and-comers. As one of this year’s 40, John has helped shaped our community in ways that have made the Charlotte region a better place to do business and live.

Dillard co-founded Big Sky Associates in 2006 with two partners and together they have focused the company on one goal: Producing results that improve their clients’ businesses. Through his participation in EO Charlotte, Dillard has the opportunity to learn from other entrepreneurs in the organization and to gain insight from the decisions that they’ve made.

John Dillard joins fellow EOers as a Charlotte 40 Under 40 honoree:
John Bly, LB&A Certified Public Accountants, PLLC, 2011
Michelle Menard, Choice Translating, Inc., 2008
Vernon Menard, Choice Translating, Inc., 2008
Eric Dudley, WebsiteBiz, 2007
Brian Haupricht, Park, Inc., 2006
Robert Fish, Bankston Partners, 2005
Michelle Fish, Integra. 2004

“EO isn’t about having a speaker tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. It’s about seeing results and understanding why decisions are made – directly from the decision-makers. The real life part of it is what makes the difference,” commented Dillard. “I can quickly take lessons from successes and failures of others and apply them to the opportunities and challenges that my partners and I face.”

“It is exciting to see fellow entrepreneurs and our EO Charlotte peers recognized for the successes they have achieved. Our hats are off to John Dillard for his contributions to our business community as an entrepreneur and to our other members who are 40 Under 40 Alumni. EO Charlotte’s goal is to educate and inspire leaders to do great things both professionally and personally,” comments Charlotte EO chapter President, John Bly. “This is confirmation that hard work has paid off for John and our EO chapter.”

EO Charlotte strives to be a continuous source of value to its members through business-centric education, leadership training experiences and interactive mindshare across business sectors.
