VantagePoint Announces New Hire and Staff Promotion
GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 13, 2012 – VantagePoint, a nationally recognized business-to-business marketing agency, is pleased to announce it has recently hired Jess Robertson as senior account manager and promoted Angie McEldowney to senior account executive.
Jess Robertson comes to VantagePoint after leading the marketing efforts of a southeast regional law firm with an in-house department of five and multiple advertising and public relations firm partners. In addition to her strong client service orientation and strategy-building expertise, she offers keen technical skills and depth in digital and social media spaces. Over her more than 15 year career, Jess has worked in web development and video/audio production, and she has served as director of marketing for a small business start-up.
Jess will serve as the account manager for trucking company U.S. Xpress and packaging leader Cryovac. She will also play a major role in new business efforts and may work on several accounts VantagePoint hopes to add in the near future.
“Jess brings a wide range of highly sought-after skills, including account leadership, channel marketing, design and technical expertise to VantagePoint,” said VantagePoint CEO, Craig O’Neal. “We are lucky to have found such a uniquely qualified candidate and believe she will be a true asset to the company and our clients.”
The firm also promoted Angie McEldowney from account executive to senior account executive. The promotion comes as a result of Angie’s excellent client work on behalf of T&S Brass, a leading manufacturer of plumbing and foodservice equipment; Estes Express Lines, a full-service freight transportation provider, and several other clients. Within her new position, Angie will play a more significant role in strategic planning and agency process improvement. With nearly five years’ experience in marketing, Angie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Ohio University.
“In her year at VantagePoint, Angie has proven herself to be a skilled client services professional, working closely with our clients to shepherd the success of their campaigns,” added O’Neal. “We are thrilled to have her here and look forward to her continued advancement.”
