“Let’s Get Connected”

The purpose of the 2012 SC HIE/HIT Summit:
1. EHR vendors will present & demonstrate a real time, bi-directional connection to SCHIEx: SCHIEx is ready and so are SuccessEHS, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Roper-St. Frances Hospital System, MUSC, CareEvolution and Electronic Health Network (EHN).

2. Presentations: From the ONC, SCHIEx, SC DHHS, SC DHEC on the Immunization Registry & Public Health Syndromic Reporting, Vendors capability and status via Panel Discussions, CMS EHR Incentive Updates, SC Medical Association, SC Hospital Association, CITIA, SCPHCA, SCORH, CCME, and testimonials from physician adopters of EHRs.

3. Breakout Sessions: Vendor led user groups for providers using (or considering) a particular EHR, Qualifying/Applying for EHR Incentives, Preparing for EHR Adoption/Implementation, Mitigating the Impact on Productivity, Patient Portals, ePrescribing, Meaningful Use, etc.
