Rich Young Joins eGroup, Inc. as Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager

B2B technology veteran to lead eGroup’s strategic marketing initiatives
MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – June 18, 2012 – eGroup, the Southeast’s leading provider of cloud, application and end-user computing services, today announced that Rich Young has joined as Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager.
In this newly created role, Young will focus on driving eGroup’s strategic marketing and corporate communications initiatives as well as increasing brand awareness across the Southeast and within new vertical markets.
Young brings over 12 years of marketing, communications and public relations experience to eGroup. In his most recent role, Young served as Vice President at LEWIS PR leading thought leadership programs and digital communication campaigns on behalf of clients such as Unisys, Information Builders, Progress Software and Proofpoint.

Prior to LEWIS PR, Young held positions at two Boston-area high tech agencies an as an industry analyst at Yankee Group, covering the integrator, data center, managed service provider and software-as-a-service industries. His research and commentary appeared in technology trade and business media.
Young holds a BA, Communications from Boston College.
