EO Charlotte Hosts Panel Discussion for Growth Focused Entrepreneurs

High Rock Partners and Cherry Bekaert & Holland Present “M&A as Part of Your Company’s Growth Strategy” for EO Charlotte Chapter

CHARLOTTE, NC – June 8, 2012 – EO Charlotte, a chapter of the globally recognized Entrepreneurs’ Organization, was provided with a special event courtesy of High Rock Partners and Cherry, Bekaert & Holland on May 22, 2012. The highlight of the lunchtime event was a panel discussion covering topics that are top of mind for entrepreneurs.
The event, held at the Employers’ Association in Charlotte, featured five panelists: Dan Wilson, Waypoint Solutions Group from the Charlotte EO chapter), Randy Nelson, NSTAR Global and Paul Levering, Telovations, both from the Raleigh-Durham EO chapter, Scott Moss, Cherry Bekhaert & Holland and Kenneth Marks, High Rock Partners, both EO sponsors.

After the event, the panelists and EO Charlotte members discussed topics related to making M&A part of growth strategy by focusing on:

• Strategic acquisitions that enable access to capital and potentially liquidity for current owners
• Valuation trends in general
• What being ready for a deal means on the buy and sell sides
As a bonus, each member in attendance received a copy of Middle Market M&A, courtesy of the book’s author, Kenneth Marks, and contributor, Scott Moss.
